| This typical inner Sydney suburb offers a variety of activities and is a home for diverse urban communities and businesses. Apart from Glebe markets on Saturdays, Glebe Point Rd. is the primary daily shopping, food and galleries artery. Still not enough? Stroll up St. John’s Rd. for more charming cafes, pubs and boutiques. |

I visited Glebe for the whole month of May 2007 while visiting my daughter who lives there. Wow!! I love everything about it. I walked Bicentennial Park every morning and saw something new and beautiful each day. My favorite fig tree and the view!!The shops and atmosphere were so quaint and meditrainean. So much variety--I loved the bake shop and having coffee on the sidewalk tables. And your bus service is fabulouw!!! you don`t really need a car. I look forward to visiting again. |

Well I was in glebe in 2001 and got back in 2006. I could not believe that it was still the same. things did not change very much. Sharkys fish and chips was still there and bogarts pizza. was lovely to see the place again. if i moved to sydney in the morning. Glebe is where i would go. |

This was the first place I stayed in Sydney back in 1995. I started out in the YHA, loved the hot pies and chocolate milk from the milk bars, going into Glebe Books and browsing for hours at night. I was skint at first and could while away an evening looking at the notice boards, having a tea in Bade Manors (one of my favourite cafes in the world), sitting down by the water. I ended up staying 3 years and married an Aussie. |

Lived in Glebe for 5 months back in 2000 and re-visited in 2003, still have such fond memories of the place, laid-back, sunny, carefree attitude. On a summer`s day back at home I get a smell of warmth in the air or lavender at night time and I`m back walking along on Glebe Point Road, taking it all in. Loved the Valhalla cinema, the cafe nearby, Exelsior Bar and the Ancient Briton. No place in the world like Glebe. |

I stayed in Glebe in sept 2001 in 212 Glebe Point Road. It was such a funky little place to stay. I woult recommend it to anyone. I loved that I could just walk out of 212 and go across the road to the Toxteth pub for a drink. Travelling back to oz in 2006 and cannot wait to visit glebe again |
